Late Uttam Ch. Dey’s Final Gift: Kidney Donation Honours His Wish to Give Life

Late Mr. Uttam Ch. Dey (01/03/2025) donated both his kidneys for transplantation. Mr. Dey was treated for a cerebrovascular accident at a private Hospital in Guwahati. While conscious he expressed his wish to wife to donate his organs for sick persons ‘because he wanted to live… maybe in someone else body” .His wish to donate liver did not fulfilled. After retrieval a ‘green corridor “ was created to bring his kidneys to GMCH from the hospital.
